Best Projects of the First Stage of the TSU Accelerator "New Devices and Digital Solutions" Announced

On April 15, the "Equator" (midpoint) of the accelerator program "New Devices and Digital Solutions" was held at Tomsk State University — an interim Demo Day where student teams presented their projects to an expert jury.

The accelerator launched at TSU in March with the support of the federal project "Technologies." The program aims to develop students' skills in technological entrepreneurship and help elevate startup projects to a new level — fr om idea to finished product. Students from TSU, Altai State University, and Khakass State University are participating in the accelerator.

The accelerator's industrial partners include leading companies: Rubius TECH, SPT, Mekhatronika-Tomsk, Red Cat, LEMZ-T, BVS Research and Production Center, and others. Their representatives have already conducted excursions to their enterprises for participants and set real-world tasks for the students to pilot their projects.

The first stage of the program concluded with the "Equator," wh ere students presented their projects to experts. The jury consisted of leading university experts and representatives of industrial partners.

The projects that received the highest ratings based on the results of the intermediate stage were:

  • Sensory Glove for Prosthetic Sensation (a project by students of TSU's Faculty of Radiophysics, aimed at creating tactile feedback for users of upper limb prostheses)
  • "ZORG" — a digital content authenticity verification service based on pixel anomaly analysis and neurometric features (team fr om Altai State University)
  • "ProfiVector" — a platform for assessing workforce alignment and professional development of employees at industrial enterprises (team from Khakass State University)

In the second stage of the accelerator, the teams that entered the top 20 will begin working with trackers. Through the educational program, they will gain knowledge and skills in team management, unit economics, marketing, and PR for startups, and will work on their pitches during a masterclass with Dmitry Poletaev.

Ultimately, the 10 best teams that receive the highest expert evaluations will advance to the Demo Day, wh ere they will present their startup projects to industrial partners. The Demo Day will take place on June 4, 2026.

All teams that have completed the "Equator" and presented their projects will receive an accelerator participant certificate, which provides additional points when applying for the "Student Startup" competition.
