The Dutch professor told about the trends in the agrarian economy

Wim Hayman, Doctor of Economics, President of the International Commission on Agricultural Education, leading expert on agricultural economics and territorial development (Netherlands) told the audience of the MBA-Agribusiness program about the trends in the world economy. The program is being implemented at the IEM TSU under the auspices of the European Association of Universities of Agricultural Education in conjunction with the Wageningen University (Netherlands).

As part of the training, the professor reads a course in agricultural economics and acquaints the participants with interesting economic patterns and current trends in this area. As a practical task, Hyman invited the students to compare the macroeconomic indicators of 10 countries (GDP, per capita income, and the Ginny coefficient over 10 years (a statistical indicator of the degree of stratification of a country's or region's society along with any criterion that is used to assess economic inequality) and to make a presentation based on these indicators. This analysis will help to better understand the relationship between the economic policy pursued in the country, various economic phenomena, and the quality of life of the population.

Students will receive 2 documents: a TSU diploma and an international MBA diploma from the Association of European Universities of Agrarian Education.
