PWC Company is interested in TSU graduates

At a presentation of employment opportunities, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) staff spoke about why they are interested in TSU graduates and how the company, in turn, may interest graduates. PWC has more than 2,000 employees, and it is focused on young people, who have the opportunity to go through the entire career ladder in seven levels - from trainee to partner.

The presentation was held at the Institute of Economics and Management. Not only Master’s students, for whom the search for work is a matter of the near future, but also Bachelors who study different market opportunities, came to the meeting with representatives of the international company. Igor Kuznetsov, a graduate of the TSU’s Faculty of Economics, held the presentation.

PricewaterhouseCoopers was founded in 1849 and came to Russia in 1913. Now it has 10 offices in Russia. Its main line of business is audit services, business consulting, and tax and legal practice. It is the second largest professional services firm in the world, and is one of the Big Four auditors, along with Deloitte, EY, and KPMG.

The average age of PWC employees in Russia is 29 years. At the lowest of the seven career levels, the average salary is 30,000 rubles.

«We are interested in young specialists in whom we will invest and grow to the level of leadership positions», - says Anna Sobyanina, a specialist in the HR department of PWC’s Novosibirsk office. - This is due to the specifics of our work: the company has its own audit methodology, its software, and its special requirements for qualification and certification. It is beneficial for an employee to start growing here.

In the second part of the meeting, PWC representatives analyzed some test tasks that were offered for those who want to work there and deconstructed a business case.
