Lyudmila Tkachenko, Associate Professor of Finance and Accounting Department of IEM, took part in the 2nd International Conference on Business, Economics and Hospitality of Thaksin University (Thailand) as a co-chair of the session. This is a large-scale conference dedicated to the issues of sustainable development of economies of different countries, regions, the planet as a whole and analysis of factors contributing to their sustainable development.

- The problem of sustainable development has been of concern to mankind since the end of the last century and remains topical to this day,’ says Lyudmila Tkachenko. - Research on this problem becomes especially relevant at the current stage of global economic shifts and instability. Under these conditions, scientists from many countries are conducting research to identify factors of sustainable development and search for drivers of economic growth. Addressing these issues will help solve global environmental problems, defeat poverty and improve the quality of life of the population not only in a single country, but also the population of the entire planet.

According to her, the organisation of such a large-scale scientific event required from the members of the organising committee powerful organisational, intellectual, managerial and communicative competences and efforts, which were embodied in interesting and effective scientific reports and presentations, and may lead to further cooperation between scientific teams of different universities and countries.
