Experts from international company EY held a master-class for IEM students and invited them to their internships

EY company representatives held a master-class for IEM students on the topic of Fraud Detection in Companies. The speakers were manager Stanislav Pavlov and senior expert Semyon Chernenko.
EY is one of the biggest accounting and consulting firms in the world, and one of the Big Four accounting firms.
EY tutors told what types of fraud exist, how to detect and prevent it in time. For example, noted as the signs of fraud were excessive procurements, considerable stock remainders, significant deviations of actual figures from projections, lack of influence on finance or other figures by major events, unexplainable deficiencies, excessive penalty fees, as well as fines not covered by contract. These are all moments that require attention.
Speakers also told about their career experience, shared the specifics of project management, answered questions, and announced the possibility of internships for students.
For senior students, the EY Summer Business School will be held from June 27 to July 22. This is an excellent means to enhance your knowledge, get acquainted with charismatic experts and future colleagues. What is more, you could undertake an internship, obtain a certificate of participation, the High Priority Candidate status, and even a valuable line to add to your resume.

From July 4 to 15, the EY Summer Audit School for junior students will take place. During the event, the participants will experience full immersion in the realities of audit life: it is an opportunity to take on the audit’s profession, to analyze a real case from EY experts’ auditing practice. In addition, you could find new friends, undergo an internship from the university, obtain a certificate of participation, the High Priority Candidate status and spend your summer in a useful way.
