IEM and Belarusian State Economic University plan to develop cooperation programs

On May 24, IEM hosted a scientific seminar by Julia Shavruk, Dean of the Faculty of International Business Communications of the Belarusian State
Economic University (BSEU), on the topic “Educational trends in partnership relations with the EEU universities”. Yulia Alexandrovna gave a detailed
description of BSEU and its educational programs, showed the dynamics of the students, including by partner countries, told about the best practices of
cooperation between BSEU and higher education institutions of the EEU countries and Russian universities.
A wide range of potential areas of cooperation between TSU IEM and BSEU in both scientific and educational spheres was discussed with the colleagues.
The development of double degree programs between our universities looks attractive, and it is about programs both in Russian and in English. BSEU already has such experience: since 2020 Belarusian colleagues have been successfully cooperating with the Irkutsk National Research Technical University (INRTU).
During the discussion of Yulia Alexandrovna's report it was offered to intensify cooperation at all levels of training (bachelor's, specialist, master's), to develop academic exchanges of students and teachers, including the BSEU “Visiting Professor” program, internship and professional development programs, training of scientific staff, summer/winter schools and others.
All these programs will contribute to improving the quality of education of universities and raising their ratings.
