
IEM associate professors took part in the International Symposium on Theory and Practice of Tax Reform in Irkutsk
IEM associate professors Olga Belomytceva and Anna Balandina participated in the International Symposium on Theory and Practice of Tax Reform from July 2 to July 9 at Baikal school of BRICS of Irkutsk National Research Technical University.
Olga Belomytceva participated in the section “Problematics of tax incentives of the Sustainable Development Goals” with the conference paper “Tax privileges for EGS tools in the Russian financial market”. In preparation for the XV International Symposium on Theory and Practice of Tax Reform two joint monographs “Tax policy and Sustainable Development Goals” and “The Tax Policy of the Russian Federation in SDG context” have been printed out by the publishing house UNITY-Dana (Moscow). IEM associate professors Olga Belomytceva and Oleg Andrienko are among the authors of the second monography. You can read it here.
It’s been the fifth time I’ve taken part in the Symposium, Olga Belomytceva says. The Symposium has an established professional team which is being augmented with new professionals every year. The Symposium is carried out on a high professional level. The main topic is finance and taxation of sustainable development. It was interesting to learn about the newest research in the field.
The scientists from Indonesia, Nigeria, Belorussia, Tajikistan and China have participated in the event.
