IEM Professor took part in Astana International Conference

IEM Professor Olga Nedospasova taught a master class and made a speech at International Research-to-Practice Conference AIU-2025: Kazakhstan and the International Educational Area – Cooperation for the Future.

The Conference took place in Astana on April 22-25. The event was held by the Astana International University. The Conference was visited by leading international experts in the fields of education, management and social entrepreneurship and public authority representatives.

The participation in the Conference became the opportunity and platform for exchanging experience and sharing ideas with foreign colleagues, Olga Pavlovna says.  

During the plenary session IEM Professor delivered the speech on the “New Horizons of Employment and Labor Market Institutes in Modern Economic Models”. It was based on the intermediate results of IEM research team working on the “Institutionalization of New Forms of Employment During Economics Digital Transformation” grant project within the Russian Science Foundation. The speech resonated with the audience and provoked a discussion.

During the “Actual Trends of HR During Globalization” workshop Olga Pavlovna analyzed with participants best practices of HR management, companies’ strategies of adaptation to changing environment, methods of soft skill development.   

The Conference became a major step in international cooperation development. As a result, a plan for future cooperation with colleagues from Astana was made which includes join research programs, students and professors exchange and so on.  

I am sure that such initiatives will open new opportunities for our students and teachers, strengthen relations between the universities and contribute to the international education space development.
