IEM student won at Junior PayTech Forum

IEM student Inna Sinicheva won the finals of the Junior PayTech Forum – Russian youth conference in the world of finance technologies. Her digital product - a mobile app Sobafun received the highest marks from the Bank of Russia and National Payment Card System experts.

This year the Junior PayTech Forum was held for the fifth time. The best projects developed by the participants of the “Finance Technologies and Services of Pay System” program were presented on the forum. The program is organized by the Bank of Russia Fintech Hub in cooperation with the National Payment Card System.

For more than six month the students were obtaining new knowledge and working at conceptions of finance services which can be convenient for people. The strongest participants from Russia and Belarus got to the Finals of the PayTech Forum 2025. The jury voted for the project by the student from Tomsk.

The digital product developed by Inna Sinicheva is designated for dog owners. Inna says that due to the “Sobafun” which is the mobile app using recommendations for fast search of quality products and services from personal pool shaped with the consideration of feedback by user’s trusted individuals.

I have a dog so often there are some pet care issues. It is nice to have friends with pets to ask their recommendations. But it requires time. Hence the idea to create a service for fast search of quality products and services using the opinions of trusted individuals (friends, relatives, colleagues, trainers etc), the app’s creator says.

The “Sobafun” will be a medium for pet owners and corresponding businesses and simultaneously being an agent of the Faster Payment System will provide the means for fast payment in one click. This may be used for all kinds of products.

In August 20124 I participated in the case-championship FINOPOLIS held by the Bank of Russia Fintech Hub in Novosibirsk. There I met Evgeniy Soloviev who is the author of the Junior PayTech Forum program. He invited me to participate and I agreed, Inna Sinicheva says.

She also added that participation in the Junior PayTech Forum gave her the opportunity to communicate with high-ranking officials and top businessmen in the field of fintech, exchange knowledge and ideas. I met lots of friends, mentors and tutors for future development and implementing some more cool ideas in the fintech.

The youth-oriented FINOPOLIS.365 program is a chain of regional case championships designated for of fintech project development basing on the cases of financial market. It is the first time the case-championship will be held in Tomsk by IEM TSU on September 11-12. Students of all universities are welcome. The check-in process for the FINOPOLIS.365 will end on April 27.
