IEM students Anastasia Vlasenko and Denis Dernin won the Petropolitan Science Research Academic Competition

Petropolitan Science Research is an an open international academic competition for students and young specialists. There are 17 fields for intellectual competitions. Students and graduates of 400 universities from Russia and foreign countries take part in the competition every year.
The competition included various types of tasks:
- Preparation of research papers and subsequent public defense of the results.
- Written tests: problem solving.
According to the organizers, the competition is designed to encourage talented young specialists posessing profound knowledge and a broad scientific outlook. During the competition participants are able to reveal their research and creative abilities in their professional fields, going beyond the standard university tasks.
