
IEM students search business opportunities for Siberia on Thailand’s market
Professor of Swiss School of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management Sandeep Sharma held an online workshop for Master’s students of International Management program. This year the students will conduct a research of business opportunities of Thai market for the first time with the professor’s expert support.
Thailand is well known in Russia as an attractive tourist resort. However according to the professor’s Sharma research Thailand is also a perspective place for business development, including promoting of consumer products made in Siberia.
It should be helped by the social, economical and political stability in Thailand along with currency strength, sufficient level of education and income of the population and positive demographic situation.
The workshop was held within the framework of Promotion and Marketing Campaign (Asia-Pacific Region) given by associate professor, PhD Irina Pavlova. Within the course the students traditionally communicate with foreign professors, experts in business development in Asia-Pacific Region and carry out research projects which they are going to have to present to an expert by the end of the term.
We hope that the experience of the research of the business opportunities of Thai market will be successful, whereas the professor Sandeep Sharma provide the students with professional feedback on their work.
