IEM TSU Director Evgenia Nekhoda Awarded Russian "Dean of the Year" Prize

At the VIII Professor's Forum in Moscow, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the nationwide prizes of the Russian Professor's Assembly for achievements in higher and professional education. The laureate of the prize in the nomination "Dean of the Year" was Evgenia Vladimirovna Nekhoda, Director of the Institute of Economics and Management (IEM) at Tomsk State University.

A graduate of the TSU Faculty of Economics, Professor, and Head of the Department of Strategic Management and Marketing, Evgenia Vladimirovna has been leading the Institute of Economics and Management since 2019.

"When you are a teacher or researcher, you are responsible for your part of the work. When you are a leader, you are responsible for people and processes as a whole. For a leader, vision is important, recognizing the priority of the whole, not individual parts. But all activities 'work' for each other. For example, when teaching management, I give students many examples from the practice of managing educational organizations," Evgenia Vladimirovna once shared in an interview with the TSU newspaper "Alma Mater."

We congratulate our beloved director on her new title - "Dean of the Year." Evgenia Vladimirovna, for the staff and students of IEM, you are an example of a leader every year, every day.

The "Dean of the Year" prize of the Russian Professor's Assembly is awarded to scholars with outstanding results in managing a faculty or institute of an educational institution.

The selection of winners considers special criteria: the volume of additional educational services provided by the faculty's teaching staff; the proportion of graduates employed within the calendar year following their graduation, out of the total number of faculty graduates; the number of textbooks or teaching aids published by the faculty, etc.
